Here’s a bizarre confection of Euro sleaze horror shot through with the darkest of black humour from trash entrepreneur Dick Randall and action journeyman Zurli (responsible for many Euro crime/spaghetti western co-productions such as Target and they called him Amen). Victor Buono (Whatever happened to Baby Jane?) is eccentric peeping tom weirdo Otto Lehman. Otto has just been released from the asylum and returns to his old haunt of Vienna to make his famous sausages. Following a spate of strangulations journalist Mike Lawrence (Peplum star Brad Harris) investigates Otto and the ‘secret’ ingredients of his success. Quirky strangeness from the halycon days of Euro exploitation with a haunting score from Italian maestro Alessandro Alessandroni (the ‘whistle’ from Once Upon a Time In The West and A Fistful Of Dollars).
