| In the last years, the population of elephants living in Congolose and Cameroonian forests has been decreasing dramatically. The decline has been caused by poachers who rob forests of their inhabitants, murdering elephants for ivory and profit. In Mariah Wilson’s documentary, we meet eco-guardians, biologists, NGOs and activists who continue their ceaseless efforts to protect elephants at all cost, fighting against poachers and ivory traders.  This already difficult path is further impeded by the ever-present corruption and a lack of appropriate legislation, but their love for these animals, who play such a crucial role in the ecosystem and the survival of forests, is the most important thing.
